Meet Debbie “Action” Jackson
In the course of working together to complete your real estate transaction, you will share a lot with me about your life and family. It seems only fair that I share a bit about me with you.
I was born and raised in Pinellas County, Florida. Yes a rare find, a true Floridian of over 49+ years! My father is a retired St. Petersburg Police officer. My mother, whom I lost some years ago, worked for GTE (now Verizon).
True salt-of-the-earth types, they raised me with solid Christian principles and a strong work ethic. They instilled in me that anything worth having is worth working for. As a result, I have relentless energy and determination.
I refuse to give in to defeat
I know that persistence and integrity always pay-off.
After spending 8 years in Catholic School, I graduated from Northeast High School in 1989 and St. Petersburg College in 1993. I obtained my Associate in Science in Legal Assistance and went to work for 8+ years in the legal profession. I became an expert in contract creation, interpretation and negotiations.
In 2002, I decided to use my legal experience to do something new. I got my real estate license and started helping people with their moving decisions. I loved it and I still love it. Real Estate isn’t just my profession, it’s my avocation. While other agents may dislike having to take continued education classes every year, I welcome them. Real estate is a challenging and ever changing industry and it is imperative to stay abreast of shifts in the market, lending and regulatory environments.
In 2004 I got my “masters” in real estate by earning the highly respected GRI designation from the National Associational of Realtor’s. I am also a certified HUD foreclosure specialist and an expert in distressed properties and short sales. I am a foreclosure listing agent for Wells Fargo bank. Because of my legal background, I have also been called upon as an expert witness in Real Estate valuation and have testified in the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Pinellas County. In 2017, I obtained my Real Estate Broker License and opened Action Realty in early 2018.
